On Saturday 4 September, approximately 750 attendees gathered at the Hilton Park Lane inLondon, to watch 123 nominees go head-to-head in the fifth LTM Star Awards.

The awards ceremony, which was compèred by Amy Baker, Editor of Language TravelMagazine, was sponsored by TUI Travel and the University of Essex International Academyand was preceded by the newly created Directors' Club, which comprises directors and
business owners, and included pre-dinner drinks in a ballroom overlooking Hyde Park.

Thousands of votes were cast this year. The shortlisted nominees the LTM Star New Agencycategory were:

• Stein Study Abroad, Ireland
• StudyGreen, Spain

Irina Sledyeva from AcademConsult in Russia, winner of the LTM Star New Agency said the winhad incentivised them to work harder in the future. "The work we have done is still not enoughfor us as we always want to improve services and ourselves. Schools regard us higher than weexpected and the prize was a nice surprise."
